She talks about how her experience as a newbie to the group made her both excited and nervous.  Joanne Irving shared the importance of courage and how it can be developed, and why it is important for that courage to accompany genuine curiosity.  Joanne Irving also stresses the importance of taking moments to be conscious and reflect on our lives. She explains that it takes courage to do this, but it is worth it in the end.
